GonzoFest, an annual festival, founded by US National Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate Ron Whitehead, celebrates the life and legacy of author and journalist Hunter S. Thompson, famous for his work with /Rolling Stone/ and for still-wildly popular books, including /Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas/. GonzoFest was a huge success for ten years in Louisville, Kentucky.
